Newborn Head (Complex) Phantom for diagnostic medical imaging training and POCUS. The phantom is designed based on an average newborn head and is made out of realistic tissue-mimicking materials suitable for Ultrasound and X-Ray CT imaging. This phantom can be used with Barium-sulfate, Iodine-based, and Microbubble contrast mediums.
The phantom was developed in collaboration with a group of physician experts from the Sonographic Clinical Assessment of the Newborn (SCAN) Training Program program at the University of Calgary (Department of Pediatrics).
