Phantom Imaging Results

The following images are the MRI, CT and Ultrasound images of some of our phantoms.

  • "Left Hemisphere" - Neonate Brain Phantom
Ultrasonic image of the left hemisphere of a neonate brain phantom. This mimics all the features of a newborn brain.
  • "Right Hemisphere" - Neonate Brain Phantom
Ultrasonic image of the right hemisphere of a neonate brain phantom. This mimics all the features of a newborn brain.
  • "Brain Phantom"
It is an MRI image of our simple brain phantom. The phantom has only two features: white matter and grey matter.
  • "CT scan of two phantoms"
This image is a CT scan of the skull with an exposed brain and the cylindrical phantom. The cylinder in the cylindrical phantom is made out of our bone mimicking material and it has an internal porosity layer similar like in the real skull.
  • "Head Phantom CT"
This is actually the CT scan of the head phantom which we have shipped to you some time ago for demo purposes. This is the one which you said has nothing inside. This is not really true, the phantom has internal features but not all of them are visible on CT. The brain in this phantom would show up on MRI but you would only see its external shape. This is because the brain in this model does not have a white matter part nor the ventricles. It only has the blood vessels and a few static objects. Please note also that this is quite old phantom and the tissue mimicking materials used for its production has been already improved. Currently our materials are much more realistic then the one used in this phantom.
  • T1 gradient echo
    T1 gradient echo
MRI images of one of our full head phantom. The phantom has the skull and the brain with blood vessels and ventricles. Please note that the brain in this particular phantom does not have the white matter part.
  • T2W TSE
    T2W TSE
MRI images of one of our full head phantom. The phantom has the skull and the brain with blood vessels and ventricles. Please note that the brain in this particular phantom does not have the white matter part.
  • T2 spin echo
    T2 spin echo
MRI images of one of our full head phantom. The phantom has the skull and the brain with blood vessels and ventricles. Please note that the brain in this particular phantom does not have the white matter part.
